Contracting conditions

Staybcn(Peber, S.L.) is an on-line booking center of tourist apartments and rooms in Barcelona. The user of the web can select an offer of available apartments on our website and book it on-line for a certain period of time.

Staybcn is acting as an intermediate between the client and the owner of the apartment.

These are general contract conditions acceptable by the client in order to use our web page. There are also particular conditions for each apartment mentioned in the description, which are supposed to be accepted as well. Particular conditions mostly refer to check-in and check-out schedules, terms of payment, etc.

Staybcn is acting as an intermediate between the client and the owner of the apartment. The responsibility belongs to the owner and the client can reclaim to him for any matter regarding the apartment. Through the feedback of quality that we get from users of the webpage, we manage to obtain updated information about the level of satisfaction with offered apartments.

The user of the webpage must have the capacity to act as established by the law of Spain.

The steps to do the booking are the following:

Step 1: Select the dates to book according to the availability of the chosen apartment, taking in consideration that there is a minimum stay required and that it can vary from one apartment to another.

Step 2: Indicate the number of people, including children, who are going to stay in the apartment, taking in consideration that all the apartments have certain number of guests permitted and every extra person must pay extra fee for the stay. Also there is a stated limit of maximum number of people permitted which is declared in description.

Step 3: the prepayment is made according to the calculated percentage of the total reservation on-line, by means of the credit card.

Step 4: once the payment is made, you receive the e-mail confirmation with all the details and contacts.

Step5: the rest of the payment is made in cash (euro) upon the arrival.

The changes of the dates of reservation can be made in case of availability of the apartment in new desirable dates, but the owner of the apartment is entitled not to accept it.

The client can cancel the reservation not less than 2 weeks before the arrival date, in this case the owner refunds the prepayment. If the cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the arrival, the money is not refunded.

If the owner of the apartment, by circumstances beyond his control, can’t make the reserved apartment available for the client at the moment, he can offer another one instead but with similar characteristics. The client is entitled to refuse this offer, in this case the money is refunded, and the reservation is cancelled.
